WOW! This year is flying by! We are more than halfway through the school year and our class has been working extremely hard. At this point in the school year, all third grade students should be reading for at least 30 MINUTES every night. Please be sure to have your child read and fill out the reading log each night. Please check the website every week for upcoming events and what we will be working on for the week.
What We're Learning- February 13-17
Reading- Summarizing Nonfiction
Math- 3D figures, capacity, mass/weight, temperature, time/elapsed time, equivalent periods of time
Test on February 16 and 17-Study the study guide!
Social Studies- Economics
Science- Ecosystems, Food Chains
February 20th- President's Day-No School
February 23rd- SOL night- green RSVP paper went home; please fill out and send back
Hello and welcome to THIRD GRADE! I am so excited to be starting another wonderful year at Enterprise! I can't wait to meet you all and get started with a year full of fun and exciting learning!
Just to tell you a little about myself, my name is Lindsay Cook and I graduated from West Virginia University with a Masters in Elementary Education. I taught second grade in West Virginia for a year, then moved to Virginia and started here at Enterprise. This is my second year at Enterprise in third grade. I grew up in small town Winchester, VA. and am currently living in Montgomery County, MD.
